While there's no denying the classic G&T may be the go-to serve, we do rather appreciate the finesse of a fine quality cocktail. Here are some of our favourites for you to try.
Negroni
45ml Darkside Coastal Gin
35ml Campari
35ml sweet vermouth
STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Express the zest of an orange peel over the glass and place inside to garnish.
Lilac Old Fashioned
70ml Brightside London Dry Gin
15ml Lilac Syrup
2 dashes bitters
STIR ingredients (thoroughly and for as long as you can tolerate!) with a single large ice cube. Garnish with lilac flowers.
White Lady
50ml Brighside London Dry Gin
25ml triple sec
25ml lemon juice
Aquafaba (vegan) or egg white (optional)
DRY SHAKE ingredients (without ice) first to emulsify then SHAKE again with ice. Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with lemon peel.
Blue Angel
45ml Brightside London Dry Gin
15ml Fino Sherry
7.5ml Blue Curaçao
7.5ml Maraschino Liqueur
Top with cherry blossom tonic
SHAKE ingredients (except tonic) with ice and strain into a slim jim glass. Top with cherry blossom tonic and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Tickled Pink Gin Fizz
45ml Tickled Pink Gin by Simon Rimmer
15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
Prosecco
ADD gin and lemon juice to a flute glass and top with Prosecco. Garnish with a single strawberry.
Courtside
45ml Hydropathic Pudding Fruit Cup
1 fresh strawberry
3 fresh raspberries
15ml elderflower liqueur
45ml apple juice
15ml lime juice
7.5ml simple syrup
Soda water
MUDDLE the berries in the base of a cocktail shaker and then add all remaining ingredients except soda water. SHAKE with ice and fine strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with soda and garnish with strawberries and a sprig of mint.
Cranberry Sauced
30ml Hydropathic Pudding Fruit Cup
15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tbsp. cranberry sauce
Soda water
SHAKE the first three ingredients with ice and slowly fine strain into a coupe glass. Top with soda water and garnish with three fresh canberries on a cocktail pick.
Love Struck
40ml Hydropathic Pudding Fruit Cup
40ml rose liqueur
30ml cranberry juice
15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
7.5ml simple syrup
Prosecco
SHAKE ingredients (except Prosecco) with ice and fine strain into a coupe glass. Top with Prosecco and garnish with a beautiful red rose.
Spring Greeting
90ml Springfever Floral Gin
30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
15ml simple syrup
180ml pink grapefruit juice
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a glass. Garnish with an edible flower such as a viola.
Apple Gin Fizz
60ml Falling Leaves Spiced Gin
30ml apple juice
30ml lemon juice
7.5ml simple syrup
Ginger beer
SHAKE the first four ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a slice of red apple.
Maple Old Fashioned
60ml Falling Leaves Spiced Gin
90ml maple water
STIR both ingredients with ice (thoroughly!). Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with orange peel (or a suitably autumnal leaf!).
"Eggspresso" Martini
45ml Eggcentric Chocolate Gin
30ml freshly brewed espresso coffee
20ml coffee liqueur
SHAKE ingredients with ice and fine strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.
