We are very excited to be running a craft chocolate and specialty gin tasting with Cocoa Runners and Sunday Brunch’s Simon Rimmer.
This session takes place on Thursday 1st April, from 7.30PM (GMT) via Zoom.
What's going to happen
Our Founder, Steve Tapril, will explain techniques and flavours for a "perfect serve" gin and tonic with a tutored tasting of Tappers' limited-edition Eggcentric Chocolate Gin.
Simon Rimmer will be using some exceptional cooking chocolate (63% Dark Chocolate Couverture) to prepare a tempting tiramisu LIVE.
Spencer Hyman from Cocoa Runners will explore four different craft chocolate bars (including Hogarth’s Toasted Bread and Butter), inviting you to share your impressions over menti.com.
Simon, Steve and Spencer will look for parallels in how to taste gins, tonics, tiramisus and chocolates - exploring their histories and why craft gin and craft chocolate really taste better, are better for you, and better for the producers, farmers and the planet.
Four craft chocolate bars worth £30 including: Taza Mexicano 70% Cacao Puro, Original Beans Esmereldas 42% Milk Chocolate, Hogarth Buttered Toast and Sea Salt Milk Chocolate, and Chocolate Makers Tres Hombres 75% with Cacao Nibs
